Everything goes around in a circle.
Its a cycle.
A never ending one.
Like the cycle of energy.
Some people believe in Karma.
Some people believe in Jesus.
I spent a lot of my youth praising God for my existence and my early 20's tarnishing his name on my robe forever.
I will be 25 this month and it's a bit of an epic milestone for me.
Why? Am I where I thought I would be right now?
So far from that.
Its a milestone because I am on a road to self discovery now,
No more self hate. Self denial. Self rejection. Self harm.
The darkness? Oh it still lurks.
But he stays put.
He's trained up nice and good.
I used to laugh when people told me happiness was a state of mind.
Now I agree.
Smile because you can. And because you can be you.
I smile. And everyday, it gets easier.
